Myrtle and Castle (Red Eared Slidder Turtles)
*Two Delaware Hens, Peachy and Lil'Rose (they are the white and black ladies)
*Two Rhode Island Reds the darker one is AppleTree and the lighter, Palm tree (they are the dark reddish ones)
*Two Cinnamon Queens AKA Sex-link hens they are tan with a few white specks (the smaller of the bunch is Sugar she has more white on her tail and neck, and last but not least Spice the other queen!
They are so cool to have around! They are all well adjusted to us, especially Emily! Therefore we now let them out of the coop all day until sundown, they hang out in the front, and help us in maintaining the yard. They are awesome pest control, and great fertilizers too! ;) Emily helps to feed them and soon they will all be producing fresh eggs for us daily. I tell you what I've been lucky enough to have had fresh home grown hen eggs for breakfast and they are wonderful! We are so fortunate to have our health, our home, family, and our little hobby farm! We love being in the country!
