Saturday Kelly's over for dinner & Emily had her new friend Alaina stay the night! (see Emily's first big girl sleepover blog post)
Sunday we played outside most of the day! It's beautiful out!
Monday we had two visitors today! one this morning we had a bird come into our house all I have is a video and a screenshot from that video of the bird in my sink! Then an a few hours later a litte Pekingese name Rusty dragging a leash behind him approached me in the backyard so we delivered him back to his owners. Later in the afternoon we were going to go to the park and have a picnic but the playset in our backyard was too hot to play on and I figured the park wouldn't be much better so we had to reschedule.
The rest of the week was pretty much just fun in the sun, lots of time together spending side time outside! The girls just love being outdoors exploring. And I must say they were very patient with us as we spent a lot of time this week in the car! We had appointments for a house we are looking at purchasing!
Friday our offer was accepted on a house in six mile we would like to purchase (which is in Pickens County) We are very excited, and will share all the fun and exciting info on the house as it happens!! Friday evening we were invited over to our friend Vicky's house as her husband Kenneth had returned from Texas we had a Easter party the kids colored Easter eggs and made mini homemade pizzas. Vickie and Kenneth thank you again for hosting, as always it was a great time! Vickie your a brave woman! LOL
Saturday, April 7 was Emily's birthday she turned six this year. We had a great morning together as a family, and even more fun the rest of the day after the party got started at the bowling ally then the after party at the rodeo, and the after-After party at the Larsens :) (See birthday blog post)
And Sunday... Easter was great we got to spend it with family, we got up early and went through everything the Easter bunny left for the girls they were overjoyed! And then we went on an Easter egg hunt through the house and in the playroom where the Easter Bunny had hid eggs. Oh what an awesome morning for Michael and I and the way the girls faces lit up with every egg they discovered! We made it tradition second year in a row, and a fine tradition at that! We had a fantastic Easter Funday Sunday on the lake! Amy, maybe next year we can do ham sandwiches for lunch I could cook a ham the night before? just an Idea :) Thank you so much to my sister and brother-in-law for having us it was a beautiful day, and a great time, as always!
No better way to spend the holiday then with family!
